Contour Kit by ABH: Colors & Swatches
As it was mentioned before, the palette has got 6 shadows for perfect contouring. Colors are well-pigmented, which is especially important for light shades, as in the majority of contouring kits by the other brands lights fade out when you try blending them. Here’s the description of the colors that we tested.
Soft Light
This is a creamy highlighter in pure sand color. It works perfectly as a highlighter and does not become patchy when blended.
Lustre
This is a sheer porcelain highlighter that works excellent for strobing. It works well when blended with the other creamy products from the kit, and also as a stand-alone product.
Fair
This is a pale peach creamy product that works well both when used for creating a look in contouring technique, and as a concealer. It masks redness or face imperfections due to moderately thick formula.
Fawn
This is a darker café latte creamy color. It works perfectly for contouring and is easy to blend, although its formula is not liquid.
Shadow
This color can be described as caramel latte. It features warm brownish undertone that is designed for shading. It blends well both with a beauty blender and with a synthetic contouring brush.
Mink
This cream contour features toasted almond color and provides shading definition. It blends well to ensure realistic shadow effect.
Contour Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills: Pros & Cons
This creamy contour kit features not too liquidy texture and you will have to put some effort to blend it. Colors feature excellent pigmentation, and once blended provide that realistic contouring effect. Makeups we did with the help of this kit wore well for 10+ hours on both oily and dry skin. Colors of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour kit do not feature any powder finish and you can easily apply semi-opaque foundation over your contouring to gain that realistic effect. They feel a little drier, than cream, and this allows them to wear that long.
After AnastasiaBeverly Hills has launched their contouring kits, face contouring became a tendency in makeup. Literary every beauty blogger had a tutorial on contouring, or at least has expressed their opinion on certain contouring beauty products. Some of bloggers that reviewed Anastasia Beverly Hills contouring palettes have noted, that some of their medium shades are too warm, with somewhat orange undertone, which may not be suitable for all makeup types.

Before I actually bought this palette, T I thought that contouring was soemthing too complicated. I use this palette formy makeup routine and I must say, it takes me around 10-15 minutes to apply the product and blend it. It blends well with a flat synthetic brush. Then, I put my foundation and highlighter on, and I'm good to go!
I don't contour all my face, I normally do only my cheek bones. And I like this ABH contouring kit for ease of application and that easy blending. I don't use light colors a lot, though dark colors perform great on me.
This is my favorite contouring palette. It works way better than ABH powder contouring. It does not have that reddish undertone and loos so natural on me.
